On June 27, 2018 at 11:00 PM, Boston police reported that a man lost control of his vehicle and began driving against traffic. He reportedly drove up onto a sidewalk, nearly hitting several pedestrians and even two police officers. The incident occurred near Fenway Park after a Red Sox game against the Los Angeles Angels.
