Drunk Driver Leads Texas Police on High Speed Chase.

Kimberly Balboa, 28, was arrested on criminal charges for intoxication assault and evading arrest in a vehicle after leading Corpus Christi, Texas police on a high speed chase that resulted in an auto crash with another passenger vehicle.

Corpus Christi Police say that the situation developed after they attempted to stop Balboa’s vehicle after it made an illegal turn. At that point, Balboa sped away, nearly hitting another car, and proceeded to lead police on a high speed chase. Balboa then ran a red light and struck a black pickup truck, causing it to roll over.

Police say that the two men in the other motor vehicle were injured in the car accident and were transported to a nearby hospital emergency room to treat their personal injuries.
