Legendary Golfer Arrested For Driving Under The Influence Had Five Different Drugs In His System.

Driving impaired is foolish, reckless and negligent and can endanger the lives of everyone else. This danger to others apparently doesn’t matter to you if you choose to drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Any time you take a substance that can impair your judgment and get behind the wheel of a vehicle, you become a danger to yourself and society. If you become a victim of an intoxicated driver, you should rely on an experienced personal injury attorney here at our Boston, Massachusetts law firm to help guide you through the complicated litigation process so you can begin to recover from your injuries.

According to a toxicology report, Tiger Woods had five drugs in his system at the time of his May 29 arrest in Florida on DUI charges. The superstar golfer was found asleep at the wheel of his Mercedes around 2 am that morning. At the time, he tested positive for Vicodin, Dilaudid, Xanax, Ambien and THC, the active ingredient in marijuana. Previously, Tiger Woods has stated that he experienced an “unexpected reaction” to prescription medicine that morning. All five of the drugs can be obtained legally with a prescription in Florida, although it is not clear whether Woods had a prescription for any or all of them. Tiger Woods, who has undergone four back surgeries since 2014, announced last month he had completed treatment to help him regulate his prescription medications.
