29 year-old Timothy Christ, of Wausaukee, Wisconsin, was sentenced to 21 years in prison this past Monday May 20, for the wrongful death of 13 year-old Christopher Croley back in October 2012 in a drunk driving accident.
Marinette County Sheriff Jerry Sauve indicated that Christ was driving his GMC pickup truck on U.S. 141 in Middle Inlet, Wisconsin, while under the influence of alcohol, when he struck the Chevy Impala in which Croley was one of the passengers in a tragic car accident.
Croley’s mother and sisters were also injured in the drunk driving auto accident.
Christ, uninjured in the October accident that killed Croley, was sentenced by Marinette County Court Judge, David G. Miron, to serve 18 years of initial confinement in prison and 12 years of extended supervision. The other charges against Christ tacked on 3 years in prison to both sentences, which must be served consecutively.
Christ was charged with a felony count of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle and three felony counts of operating while intoxicated causing injury.
